Children are always welcome at St Nick’s. We have a carpeted area in the north aisle of the church with a selection of soft (and quiet!) toys where the youngest children can play during the service. Once children reach nursery age they can join Time at Ten Thirty (TATT), our children’s church group. TATT children are in church for the start of the service, and then leave in procession to our adjacent cottage for their children’s liturgy, before returning in time for communion. At the end of the service (if Fr Simon remembers) they can show and tell the adults what they’ve been doing.
Here’s what TATT member Tom has to say:
If you have a child who is between nursery age to secondary school age and/or is not in the choir, then take him/her to TATT (Time at Ten Thirty)! They can do lots of fun things there while learning about Jesus and his friends. There are three groups:
Pebbles: Nursery-age to 6
Rocks: 6 to secondary school age
Boulders: Secondary school age
And they can go there any Sunday they want! It lasts from the start of the mass up to the Communion! So don’t delay, join today!
