As well as the teaching during our Sunday services, at St Nick's we offer occasional courses, bible studies and other forms of Christian education, particularly during Advent and Lent.
For children we have Time at Ten Thirty during the Parish Mass on Sunday, and child-focused activites at major feasts. We admit children to Holy Communion from around age 7 after a programme of preparation.

Our Lent course for 2010, based on Henri Nouwen's The Return of the Prodigal Son, has its own page. Unfortunately the lame Adobe software we use for the website won't allow me to link to it, but here's the URL: http://www.stnicholaschiswick.org/happening/StNicholasChiswick-Lent2010.shtml
In June and July 2010 we ran a series of four workshops on prayer, led by Fr Simon, Revd Ann, and Sr Patricia. The written materials for Fr Simon's introductory talk are here. There's also a recording of Sr Patricia's talk on contemplative prayer - it's in three MP3 files because of file size limitations; in total it's about 35 minutes long (after editing out 5 minutes of silence for prayer in the final session). Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3
